Dr. Jinzhen Cao is now chairing Section 4 in SPC of IRG, and she is the chair of the IRG57 LOC held in Beijing, China. She is a professor of Beijing Forestry University, China. Yang ZHANG

Dr. Yang Zhang is a Professor and Vice Dean of the College of Materials Science and Technology at Beijing Forestry University. He also serves as Deputy Director of the National Forestry and Grassland Engineering Technology Center for Wood Resources Recycling, as well as Deputy Director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Wood Science and Engineering. His research and teaching focus on biomass-based novel materials, smart eco-materials, and related advanced applications.

Wensheng LUO

Dr. Wensheng Luo serves as the manager of Beijing Shengda Huayuan Technology Co., Ltd. and is a professor-level senior engineer. He is primarily engaged in research, development, and production applications related to the flame retardance, modification, and preservation of wood and wood-based materials, as well as functional wood-based composites production technology and adhesives.

Erni MA

Dr. Erni Ma is a professor at College of Materials Science and Technology in Beijing Forestry University. She got her PhD from Shimane University in Japan in 2010. Her research focuses on the wood-water relation, with special interests in the regulation on water induced ultrastructure of wood cell wall and the wood dimensional stabilizing modification.

Chusheng QI

Dr. Chusheng Qi is a professor at College of Materials Science and Technology in Beijing Forestry University (BFU). He also serves as the Director of the Wood Science and Technology discipline and the Director of the Wood Structure Building Design Center at BFU. His current research interests include engineered wood products, multiscale mechanical properties of wood and wood composites, and the design and energy-efficient modeling of wood structures.

Wang WANG

Dr. Wang Wang is an Associate Professor at College of Materials Science and Technology in Beijing Forestry University. He received his PhD in Wood Science and Technology from the same university. His research focuses on wood protection and modification, with special interests in creating advanced wood-based materials through the use of green solvents or microorganisms.

Yao PENG

Dr. Yao Peng has been a member of CC since 2023. He is an Associate Professor at College of Materials Science and Technology in Beijing Forestry University. He obtained a PhD degree in Wood Science and Technology from the same university. His research focuses on the interaction between weathering and biodeterioration of wood and bamboo, as well as functional bio-based composite materials.

Meng ZHOU

Dr. Meng Zhou is a Lecturer at College of Materials Science and Technology in Beijing Forestry University. She received her PhD degree in Microbial Ecology from the same university, with an expertise in microbial classification, identification, and culturing. Currently her research focuses on the wood decay mechanism by wood-rotting fungi and mycelium-based composite materials.
