IRG55 Fun Run/Walk
Join IRG55 LOC Chair Jeff Lloyd and a cast of characters for the 2024 IRG55 Fun Run/Walk.
A great way for some exercise and fun, the IRG55 Fun Run/Walk is open to all ages and skills. Whether you run or walk, or find some other way to move along, you're most welcome to participate. Entry is FREE, just show up at the start by 7:30am on Sunday May 19.
Starting point: Meet outside the front entrance to the Crown Plaza Knoxville Hotel
Starting time: Meet at 7:30 am (0730).

Route: The route will start at the Crown Plaza and head to the river and along the river greenway. It is 1.6km (1 mile) to the river from the Crown Plaza, though Market Square, past the James White Fort, Blount mansion, and the Paddle steamer to the river. Then take the paved trail back through World's Fair Park and Sunsphere for 1.6km (1 mile) and then 800m back to the hotel. The route is mostly flat except for one short uphill rise.
